Today it is PCC's on the Church Street line of the NYCTA in Brooklyn, NY, taken on October 13, 1956.

PCC's 1026 and 1072 lay over on the loop next to the 39th St. Ferry Terminal, unused for years. The buildings behind them are Bush Terminal's piers.

NYCTA PCC 1026 has departed the 39th St. Ferry Terminal on private right-of-way. The tower in the background is the abandoned ferry slip.

The other end of the Church St. line was at Bristol St. in Canarsie. PCC's 1037 and 1074 were at the loop there.

Next week, we end our Brooklyn PCC adventure.

I took these two pics after getting right off of work at UPS at 6 in the morning.  They was taken about 2 weeks ago at the LIRR East Williston Station.  This train just deadheaded here before it starts its revenue service later in the morning.  What is special about this train is that its the only time you will see EMUs on the Oyster Bay Branch as the rest of the branch is non-electrified.

I was working this train, but a friend who happens to work for the Queen Anne's Sheriffs Office took this shot:

1202 was in tow. She was going to be used by another crew to pick up a pay car while we shuffled covered hoppers for Perdue in Roberts, MD
