a few photos for you

I thought that it would be fun to get all of my photos of various weathering projects online to coincide with the release of my weathering book.  These photos date back to 2003 and right to the beginning of this year when I started on the book.

Some of the photography and weathering is terrible!  Like when you see an old photo of yourself in a leisure suit with muttonchops or something.

Enjoy :)

Excellent work I'm looking forward to getting your book. I have'nt started weathering my cars yet but hope to soon. I've
been doing alot of lowering cars to prototypical ride height. That is my MTL cars and Atlas tankcars I've only weathered the
wheels on most of my car fleet. What is the best way to weather though with a brush or an airbrush?

That reminds me, who ended up with that 6324? I don't need to know exactly who, just want to know it went to a happy home.

Mann, this is going to be a good book.  I think you need to put a mutton chop shot in the About the Author blurb on the back sleeve.   ;D

Of course you realize you are going to be sharing shelf space with one of the luminaries of 20th century German fiction.  Here is a shot of the Original Thomas Mann consulting with Einstein on his next project:   :)

Funny you mention that.  Just this week I went back to darken the vents and to add some exhaust on the top and will be selling it shortly.

Hilarious.

SirTainley- It's Z scale, a brass "SW-1" body shell from Zthek on a Marklin chassis.  Don't know what Tom thinks it is?
