My father loved this stuff... and every time he had it I'd get sick.

Damn Lee, Rapa - I love that stuff.  Gotta pour some syrup on it to make it even better.  In PA they call is Paun Hause (not sure of spelling) and my granddad made it homemade (butcher day, once a year).  Rapa comes close to the original.

Think we'll get Scrapple reefers in the future?

Not very far removed , Spam is supposedly loved by Hawaiians . I was there for a 2 plus years and never had a desire to try the stuff , so its attraction is not the location or the air . I have seen a report on TV that they warehouse excess tons of the stuff there to insure they never run out . I wonder if they consider it also a form of K ration .

Found this as proof of sorts

All I can say is that anyone who would find library paste (a.k.a. "poi") appealing would probably find Spam a gourmet's delight!  ;D ;D ;D

Everything they can't make into lunchmeat gets made into Slim Jims,
Everything they can't make into Slim Jims, they make into bologna,
Everything they can't make into bologna, they make into scrapple,
Everything they can't make into scrapple, they sell to Micro-Trains.

:) World just keeps on spinnin'....
