John, he is talking about the scenery. You have correctly shown the cinder subroadbed under the CSXT tracks in West Virginia. Trains through the mountains were powered by steam locomotive that spewed cinders for well over a century and in many areas is still too thick and toxic for weed growth.

I noticed that nice touch, too. (See the roadbed on my photo diorama.)

The green is awfully GREEN.
Use the Ed method and grind up a pile of leaves to get some more natural ground cover on there.

Oh, and that train is really ugly.

I think I over adjusted the colors in Picassa .. it is a mixture of brownish screened saw dust as a base, burnt grass WS, a little bit of green grass WS .. and earth blend WS
