About halfway through, needs cut levers, mu hoses and receptacles, Trainline hose, sill needs to be cut down,

Nice paint on the BN and the swoosh.
I still have problems with painting silver. Any advise?

Ummm silver paint is a PAIN !!
I'm never really satisfied with it, I just keep spraying until it looks ok then stop and if I have to I'll give a few light coats once its dry, but I do have a lot of trouble with it. I know Tamiya silver goes on a lot better. I've been using Badger Modelflex and a Iwata Revolution air brush.

Here's BNSF 1090 , it was a fine Kato SP Dash 9 but ..............


















Further assembly done 29/03/2008

Still needs more putty, detailing and correct trucks

Just altered narrow handrails to wide with anticlimber mounted ditchlights.

Did BNSF use the pale blue when they renumbered the MNCR loco or was that the colour it was originally ?

Yes they put a light blue patch over MNCR logo's etc.
