I haven't chimed in yet, and I hope it's not too late, but I'm a HUGE fan of Trainman stuff (except the video).

I love my 50' OB boxcars:
I also really like the new covered hoppers.

And at the prices? You REALLY can't argue at all. I think they're worth much more than just practice cars.

It's not too late.  I'm always appreciative of others' opinions and advice.  It's all still brand new to me, so the chances of telling me something I already know are slim to none.
I saw a couple of the covered hoppers, but I still can't tell the difference between the ones that haul grain and the ones that haul other materials, so until I can learn how to identify a grain hopper I'm going to hold back on those purchases.

I almost bought that exact boxcar Ed, but I forced myself to only purchase one car, which was one more than I had in mind when I went to the shop.

I am rather new to US modeling (German Federal Railway before) and only possess one cabin car from Trainman. Without knowing much of the prototype, I like what I got.
It is detailed enough for me, and the prototypicality (is that English?) comes later. However, I build our layout for me and my six year old son.

I want to get a couple of Dave's TOFC. The price is unbeatable.
