This is in N scale?? It sure ain't in the new first quarter 2008 Atlas Catalog!

Alas, there are at least four distinct GP15's, first there are GP15-1's and GP15-T's, then there are inertial filter models and those with louvers for air intake. Probably also with and without dynamics, too.  :(

Yeah, I just got the poop.

They're only doing one version (the MP version). This is ok for me because  all you need to do to make them 100% for CR is scrape off a row of grabs.

List price is around $70. That's right, $70 LIST.

Ack!  Aside from a Reading GP-30 that's been hastily painted out, the GP-15 is my favorite CR engine!...  Must.... resist....    noooooooo!

Where are you guys getting this from?  Like Gregg said, nothing in the catalog.

What would make this "Trainman quality"?  The differences in Atlas' HO scale Trainman and Master Lines are detail that doesn't exist on Atlas' N Scale line.

Oh well,  cant pass this one up. Put me down for 1..
You`ll never find a Philly cheese steak on a menu in Philadelphia. It`s called a cheesesteak and we all know where it`s from...

It`s on the Atlas forum that they had a mock up in Springfield.

Yup, saw it my self. Cory said he had to do some
arm pulling to bring it out for us to see. The fuel tank
is now part of the chassis. There will not be a plastic
tank snapped on just the frame painted black in this
area. Also said that it will not come with a decoder but
will be decoder ready. Apparently the same decoder
that is now being used in the GP7/9 will fit this loco.

Sorry no pics from me but I'm sure it will be posted by
someone.

Two things from the HO trainmand could be the die cast underframe (as mentioned about the fuel tank), and I would guess no painted handrails.  An easy one would be the cut levers which are separate on the new 'master' engines.  I wonder if they'll use the 'scale' speed motors.
