ah the Mchenry debut!

I wonder what N&W scheme .... ???

(ok I found the schemes here: http://www.featherrivertrains.com )

I wish they'd put this info on their website (nothing at the moment)

Someone should tell them that the class B75 318650-318799 series of cars were built by Wabash... not P-S.

N&W P-S double door cars, with no cushioning, as of June 1st 1969,  were:

Class B9, 52700-52799, 15' DD, blt 1955-56

Class B11, 52690-52697, 52840-52854, 52897-97, 57000-57439, 15' DD, blt 1960

You can get the B15 and B114 classes in if you ignore cushioning... the B114s especially

Someone want to tell them that the D&H car is bogus too? Berwick rebuilds, no roofwalks, different sill...

I want to be that thankful N scaler who's just so happy that a big-time manufacturer was kind enough to toss him a bone, regardless of how unprototypical that bone may be...

So Athearn is adding another transition era car to the N scale offerings.  Cool.  Now, I will admit, I see the roller-coaster roofwalk and the paint that looks like it was applied with a fire extinguisher...

...but I have to remind myself that there's a fine line between being too forgiving and too demanding.  I may pick one of these up; we'll see.

I should get a few of these, too.  By 1970 the N&W had de-facto trackage rights over the WM.

FWIW Robb,

I essentially cut & paste your info and sent it to Athearn.

Let's see if they are listening ...

I think I figured out where Athearn got the N&W road numbers:
