Amato: Have you ever seen The Lehigh and Keystone Model Railroad Club in Bethlehem, PA? - Great replica
of P-Burgh. Skibbeb is that a module or part of your layout, you are like a Midheim Yoda.

Yeah, they even have Jimmys Hot Dogs modeled in their Pburg area. I went to the LKVMMRC a few days ago..
You`ll never find a Philly cheese steak on a menu in Philadelphia. It`s called a cheesesteak and we all know where it`s from...

at the B&O museum :)
Uh, Oh, time for five or six pages that will then get moved to Crew Lounge. 8)

I played around with some of my DCC decoders.  Since I do not yet own a sytem, I used my Dad's.  I spent a good while playing with speed tables to get the locomotives to run really nicely.  Now they all run together perfectly and they also all have prototypical top speeds.

This one was taken on the home layout.  I don't know about Mindheim, I used too much green... ;-)

Chuck, I have not visited that layout.  I live in Iowa now, and only get back to PA a couple times a year.  I'll have to put that on my "to-do" list for my next trip east...

If you google LEHIGH AND KEYSTONE VALLEY MODEL RAILROAD CLUB - there are now a couple of sites with new pictures. I was a member when I lived in Bethlehem from 97-03. Someone ask me if I was on the air there...yes Uncle Buck at Cat Country 96. The club has expanded to include ALLENTOWN HUMP YARD, BETHELHEM ENGINE FACILITY and more. They are working on the southside with steel and more. email Lou for more info on the club and for a visit. lvlou04@aol.com

In one of Model Railroaded's layout magazines, they had a great N scale layout of the area.

To be honest, and I'm not sure, never having been there, but Lance hasn't used enough green, even for the depth of winter.

That was a real wakeup, actually.

They moved they layout to it present location about 11 years ago or so. They had a small building off of 3rd Street right below Lehigh University, great location, the ore trains from The Steel would rumble by about 10 feet away. They`ve done a good job of replicating the area were I grew up.

busy weekend for me...

ran trains at the B&O show, modified my layout to better resemble the prototype, and installed 6 ground throws on the non main turnouts.  i drilled a few holes and made a template for the Tortoise switch machines.

here's the new track plan, it's much closer to the 1967 layout and is functional as a layout.

Steve, What's the scale on that grid? 12"? 18"?

i left out the N&W (1967) interchange - it will be present on the layout once i built the rest of the bench - all the materials are on hand, i just need to get to it...
