Floquil vs Model Master

I used Floquil Engine Black to paint a Life Like C425 for decaling a PC unit. After the decals were put on I tried to seal it with Model Master flat and it crazed the paint to the point that the decals melted. Anyone have that issue before?
You`ll never find a Philly cheese steak on a menu in Philadelphia. It`s called a cheesesteak and we all know where it`s from...
