Sweet, dual VO powered DR.
I just sat there with my eyes affixed upon that photo for a good minute or so. Never have I thought that a colour photo is available.
Not my next kitbash, but it is on up there. I think I have a set of drawings somewhere.
Did we ever see the finished product of his Solidworks drawing?
I never was satisfied with the nose. It was good enough to get me an A in the class, but I did not think it was good enough for production, even if it was more accurate than many other models out there. Maybe it was just the way Solidworks rendered it as opposed to looking at photographs; the differences where always slight, eg. a fillet that looked to have a radius larger than the prototype, an angle that was off slightly, etc. Anyway, I would have had to redo it almost completely to fit any mechanism. For these above reasons, and the fact that there is already a shell available, and a pretty good one at that, I did not see fit to get Mark4 to make it for me.
