Not as deep as the Conrail book, but some fun stuff.  I only apologize for my 110 pocket camera's lousy quality, and my stupidity in getting silk finish paper...

The gallery includes captions, but since we share the same attention span... ;D

Shenandoah Jct. WV, about 20 minutes west of Harpers Ferry.

That must have been some time ago... Those pics are from 1982-3, and there wasn't much there then...  I'm not sure when it came down, but I'm guessing early 70's at the latest...

hmmm, could be a "manufactured" memory ... I'll find out when it was actually demolished.

in the 90s only the foundation was there ...

That was also true in the early 80's.  Is there anything else you've been suppressing? ;D

Suppressing? Hmmm, I thought it was more like "tall tales" than hiding something.  :P

This is what it looked like um a "few" years back:

I remember that place too.  Some friends and I were out railfanning and saw a green signal on the N&W - two hours later still nothing.  Gave up and went over to Cumberland.
