Bob, once you have the body nailed down and you are sure there won't be changes, you should get a sample off the Hay Brothers Garage so they can have an ore load ready to ship at the same time. Their loads are excellent!

I am very interested in this so I hope you don't mind me bumping this up.  What I am interested in is the basic undecorrated car body without trucks and couplers.

Ok on the G39... not interested... no ore in Massachusetts. Did the G22 or G43 make it into LATE CR?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

As a non-PRR modeler, that still looks great.

Just another 2 cents, thinking about a jackpot car??? Missouri Pacific gons of some kind, see 'em all across the country.

There are still many G43s serving CSX and NS today.

Looks good.  I'm new to Railwire and you got another Pennsy modeler in you mist.  A little late for my era but wouldn't mind having a few.  Just change a few cars and engines around and I would have a later 50's early 60's era, change out again and back to mid 50's.

I knew I had this photo around somewhere.  Better latethan never I guess.  Working the former PRR Whiskey Island ore receiving dock along Lake Erie in Cleveland.

What happened to the G39 Ore Jimmy project?  Seems to have died.

Noooooooo it did not. I just poured the 1st half of the production mold. Later this week, I will do the top. I had to get a large enough pressure pot made and the vacumn chamber going to de-gas the resin. You know me, I have to do it right or not at all.

Hopefully next week, I begin to get some of the first shots done.
