What do you think? Not bad, but I prefer the Guilford scheme... I fear change  ;D

The nose is way too plain... they should put the logo there.

the logo looks "cheaped out" to me.

Bizarre concept though ... Pan Am Railways - book me a train to Paris ... and those flight attendants ... err I mean train conducters ...

Maybe this scheme would work better:

Between the grab irons/ladder, the access door, and the headlights, there's no room for a logo on that nose, at least not the Pan Am globe... :-[

If a logo does not fit , maybe a 45 deg. series of stripes like CP , MRL or BN execpt in thin black line . What do you think ?  ???

I think they should do as the Vermont Railway did to there
wide cab and put the chevrons on the nose. Then they
should also use a thin white stripe to seperate the grey
from the blue.

There is nothing they can do to make what belongs on a plane look railroady to me . When I saw a shot of a B-17 with a UP Streamliners nose art I felt the same way . Or as expressed on a recent commercial " Don't Fruit The Beer " . Oddly however , it didn't bother me to see the PanAm building . But then buildings cross all boundary's .

Its the B&M blue that was on the GP40's. The GP40's were a tad bit lighter than the other units (GP38's and GP9's) that were also painted in the "simplified blue" scheme in 1978.
