Can it be a freelanced road on said gondola?  The only difference being reporting marks and such.  I want to change the reporting marks on a PRR gon, but will probably keep the number the same.  If I find a pic of the original PRR gon, then I can weather mine to match.

Get weathering!

Does this mean we are back to the original format, and aren't doing "modelling" challenges anymore?

That still doesn't answer the question, BB...are we worrying about stuff like kitbahses, brake chains and individual grabs, or not?

By "Battle Gondola" do you mean "Battleship Gondola"?? Those are the six axle jobs built by the Virginian Railway and the Norfolk & Western in the 20's to haul export coal to Norfolk. Believe there was an article in N-Scale or N Scale Railroading on constructing these in N scale in the past couple of years.  :P :o

Here's an HO version (from Westerfield):

If this is a real question, I think "battle gondola" is just a silly phrase for a
heavily rusted and dented gondola that shows many years of hard use.
Missed your presence in the challenge! See you in May?!?!

yeah Jeff, for once it was a serious question...
...sounds good to me - a heavy used gondola,
thank you for the explanation, I really thought
we have to kitbash a VGN Battleship Gondola   ;)
ok, let's go and search a picture then...
catch you later...

Raildog was right in the other thread.

I was referring to Iron Chef (and consequently, Iron Chef America) on the Food Network.

After looking at several comments, I guess the tongue sticking out and the popping eyes don't convey "funning or joking" as well as the old smirking devil smilie. I knew what Ed meant, but decided to try and have a little fun with his wording.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
