This is a report in JAM* convention held in Tokyo, Japan this weekend.
(* Japan Association of Model railroading)
Here is the newest N scale work by Mr. Tohnishi; say Dual-Triplex(?) Garratt using 6 pcs of Kato D51 (2-8-2) mechanism plus brass scratch built upper body by him.  It pulled 179 pcs of tenders and MTL cars at the convention, and would pull 230+ cars according to his design/calculation.

Sorry, I cannot upload the movie of the Garrat.

The newest Garrat, his some works years ago and his picture.

Congratulations to Mr. Tohnishi!
Those are some very unusual and interesting models.

You cannot upload any videos to the Railwire. You would have to host them externally (like YouTube or Facebook) and post a link to them here.

And it won't let me see it unless I join Facebook, which I will not do.

The photos look like he might have solved the problem the real Triplexes had - the boilers were too small!

I see a lot of the "Narrow gauge junction" section on Twitter. The only reason I ever visit Twitter is to see what the modelers in Japan are up to.

Thanks guys for your comments.

Chris333, I did not notice the "Narrow gauge junction" in the Twitter.  Yeah, it is interesting.

 Ed Kapuscinski:

Thank you for your comment.
I guess you mean "Tenders painted in Palestina, Israel, Ukraine and Russia", which I understand Mr. Tohnishi hopes to be peaceful world for these countries.
