May 2024 New Releases Part 1

SD70ACE – Union Pacific – Southern Pacific Heritage!



This locomotive is different from the initial release with the GPS dome replaced with an antenna package. This represents the locomotive as seen today.

AZL’s SD70ACEs include directional controlled LED lighting, blackened metal wheels, traction tires, AZL AutoLatchTM couplers pre-installed front pilots/plows, DCC ready, and optional truck with coupler.

EMD SD40-2 – Rock Island!



There are two different road numbers to choose from.

64215-2 RI SD40-2 4793

The Rock Island version features these specific details:

ORTNER HOPPERS – Georgetown



The GRR operates out of Georgetown, Texas and has a fleet of nearly 300 Ortner hoppers. The railroads main business is hauling aggregates from the Texas Crushed Stone Co. The railroad interchanges with the Union Pacific via a line previously owned by the MKT. Two two-packs are available:

WIDE VISION CABOOSE – Union Pacific



Yes the UP operates a wide-vision cabooses. This one came from the Missouri. Pacific.

Now that is one nice model!   Reminds me of the time I caught her on the Loop (tho that was before the antenna package, lol)
