SpeedTrap N Scale 'Curved Speedometer'....

The 'Curved SpeedTrap' speedometer is done and the print files are up on Thingiverse.com. The 'Straight SpeedTrap' speedometer should be done in a day or so and those print files should also then be up.



SpeedTrap software is finished and seems to work fine.

Couple of updates:

It is possible to get all of the parts via Amazon, but the 'free' shipping makes everything cost more. I show a total of $83.22 (but that is for 3 of the ESP32 LOLIN32 Lite and the 2000mA battery).

The single ESP32 LOLIN32 Lite is out of stock on Amazon. You can still get the 3 pack but stock is low.

The break beam sensors are out of stock at Adafruit. They are available on Amazon but are $6.30 ea instead of $2.95 ea. at Adafruit.

Might be worth a look.  I bookmarked it for myself.  If you order there report back on the service.

I finished printing all of the parts for the 'straight' SpeedTrap and assembled them today and got a good part of the wiring done in 2 hours.  Should be able to finish in another 1-2 hours and then test it.  If all is well, don't see why it won't be might get the print files up tomorrow.

You probably noticed but the software is up also, so everything to build the curved one is there and the files for the straight one should be up tomorrow or the next day.
