SAL Alco FA-1s; Dynamic Brakes or no Dynamic Brakes?

Doing research on the Seaboard's three FA-1's, I cannot tell if they had Dynamic Brakes or not. The only pictures I can find are from ground level, and the line drawings I've found seem to indicate that they did not have them, which would make sense for where they ran, I would think. Any help would be appreciated.

My "Seaboard Motive Power" book says no dynamic brakes.  The first locomotives fitted with dynamic brakes were the RS-11's.

Thank you; that's the kind of "definitive" answer I was looking for rather than guessing based on side-profile shots. Someone modelled one but I was concerned their use of a dynamic-brake equipped body was incorrect, which you have confirmed; thank you.

Not a roof photo, but, in case you haven't seen it, here's a photo of two of the three FA units at Enola PA in 1948, presumably enroute from the factory to the SAL.
The first four PRR FA units would be built a couple of months later, so the Pennsy guys were getting a little bit of a glimpse into the future.

That is a great photo that I did see in searching for roof shots; I've found a singular roof shot of 4202 that seems to confirm there were no dynamic brakes, but again I wanted another source other than a few pixels worth of image.

The PRR is easy, as most of the brass manufacturers made a "PRR version" which tends to be correct (dependent on year), but this was a custom someone did out of an Overland (HO) and they got almost every detail right aside from the model they used had dynamic brakes (where seaboard didn't), and the missed the third horn on 4202 (not sure why it has three versus the standard two). It's okay, though; saves me a little money, even though it was gorgeous and it pains me not to have a correct one.

I hope that smoke isn't from the second unit!

My pleasure, Christian.  That's what the railwire is for.  8)
