CMW (Round 2) has announced two new paint schemes for their White WC semi-tractor with bottle trailer, and two new paint schemes for their 1954 Ford box van.

One thing quite interesting about this announcement is that they are calling the White WC an International Harvester R-190!  :?

Sorry to be critical, I know you are trying hard to promote N scale vehicles generally, and I have dozens of Mini-metals. Glad these are actually White WC- I have enough R-190s to model an IH factory.

But,...

I wish that they would correct the scale on the bottle cases. The HO version of their trucks are stacked 7 or 8 cases high (more or less in scale), and 4 across (believable) the N scale version appears to have the same size case (that is, the N scale case is the same real world size as the HO case), stacked 3 high, albeit on shelves, and 2 across ( not believable).  It's like the N scale of the 1960s, when use of HO scale details was fairly common.  Sorry, but until they fix it, I'm sticking with the Showcase bottle trucks, even if I have to paint them myself.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Are those Mayflower trucks based in reality?
Looks like a couple things I'm interested in at least.

I wish they'd offer more late 1930s vehicle options.

The scheme is legit, but I don't think it was ever on a box truck.
