SP Hog Fuel Car B50-10 mod.

I've been off this project for a few weeks out enjoying what's left of warm weather in in Oregon.  Now that its wet and chilly no excuses.  This is an HO scale SP Hog Fuel car converted from older SP B50-10 boxcars prototypically...unusual in that they were 40' cars and not 50'.  The shorter car works better on my layout.  Anyway this was drawn in Tinkercad and printed on a Photon Mono X at .050 using their grey resin.  The underframe has been massed to check for ride and coupler height.  Now I can start doing some basic detailing.  As I noted someplace else, my goal is to do something like an Accurail as far as detail goes.  I've done super detailed cars only to have them destroyed during Op sessions at home and away.  This can be handled which suites me just fine.  There will be slots for the stringers across the top and the load will be printed to sit on the shelf on the inside. I'll coat them with epoxy and use fine sawdust to represent the load.   Hoping to do a dozen or so for my fleet.    Note the grab irons floating off the surface.  I had intended to mold them flush, but figured lets see what happens.  Sure enough I got a nice little surprise after printing.   Here you can see the basic set up...very straight forward...trucks and couplers are just stand ins for rolling tests.

That's excellent. It reminds me of some similar-looking coke car rebuilds I've seen.
