Curiosity killed the Consolidation...?

I recently picked up several Bachmann Hudson tender frames. They are a dead ringer (once the water scoops are amputated!) for my WM H9 tenders. They came with all of the electronics, including the 6 pin connector. I know that opinions vary on these decoders, but since I suck at electronics, I'm inclined to use them. I've been looking at product diagrams and spookshow's website and it appears that Bachmann's recent steam offerings with sound use the same 6 pin connector running from the engine to the tender. Does anyone know if the 6 pin connector on Bachmann's sound consolidations will fit the Hudson tender? Can I connect a 2-8-0 to a Hudson tender and run them? Does anyone have a Consolidation and Hudson that might be willing stick together to try it out for me?

Thanks!

Look at the circut board in both tenders where the wires connect . There should be symbols like M+  and M- (among others) .If they are the same on both boards then it is likely that it will work as planned .   Mike
