If you saw my other post I was looking for a solid short circuit on my 16' x 16' layout divided in 3 sections , each section is controlled separatly but joined together . Finally found the problem , cleaned a lot of bad wiring , attached wires cleanly , all that was done with power on the tracks to be sure I was not causing another short .
My power packs come from an electrical laboratorie that were selling surplus ( they were made by Lambda ) you can adjust the voltage and amps very acuratly .
One section ( the main line ) is controlled by DCS100 ( DIGITRAX )
Second section a big staging yard by a TAM booster
Third section is a big yard controlled by DB150 ( DIGITRAX )
During all my search I might have touched or modify something , the problem comes with the DCS100 section , locomotives go for 2 second , stop , go for 2 seconds , etc etc maybe I should turn up the voltage a bit that goes in the DCS100 ?
Thanks !!
