Does anyone have this kit or has built it?

https://www.walthers.com/modern-steel-warehouse-kit

I am wondering how many of the door and window openings are cut all the way through the walls.  I would want to eliminate the long side doors and install two rail doors either end for the purpose of creating a diesel shop.  The concrete base and steel upper sides are very reminiscent of the Prince George diesel shop which I wish to represent on my future staging yard.

A view of the ends and walls prior to assembly would be helpful, if anyone has an unassembled kit.

I am aware of run-through buildings from Pikestuff but this structure is a better look for my purposes.

Thanks,

Tim

I don't recall seeing any Walthers kits that don't already have the door/window openings cut out.

I know that the Rix products have shallow wells for cutting out windows...not the Walthers stuff.  If you want to do something similar consider Rix, they have a bunch of different configurations and options.   https://rixproducts.com/     I've used their products building models for the HO club I used to belong to...good stuff.

The HO kit the walls are a series of panels with openings cut. The panels you can arrange to your liking.

Just ordered a n scale version.  Should have it in a couple days. Will let you know.

Thank you; if you could take a picture or two of the parts before assembly that would be most helpful.

Thank you,

Tim

The wall in N are one piece unlike the HO.  The pieces are crisp and look easy to cut.  The windows are actually really nice.  Not the usual o scale thickness that passes for an n scale window.  The attached photo is the windows look thick due to shadow.

Thought the white background would enhance the photo.  Turns out I am not much of a photographer,
