Minimum radius for Brass K series Locos

We are going to be moving sometime in the next year so I now have the opportunity to fix my Radius mistake . I built to 18" radius counting on a certain MFG in Colorado . Brass Westside models seem to be easy to mod for 18" curves , mostly just clearence for the tender trucks to swivel a bit more and a bit of grinding on the rear of the cylinders for pilot truck clearence . PFM/UNITED  Great looking locos . The only way to get then on an 18" curve is to blind the center drivers . These locos have almost no side to side play in the axel slots .

I can go up to a 22" radius pretty easy , but I don't think those PFM locos will like that either . Who has some big brass K series locos ?

Since no one seems to be jumping in....
I asked the same question a while back of some local guys and was told 24"is really pushing it. As we had the room, we decided to go with 28" on the layout to be safe, and sure enough, that's fine for the K36 and 37's (PFM?). Whether or not you could get by with less is not something I can answer. Why not rig a short piece of flex and test it out with one of the big girls? Seems like a worthwhile effort?
Best, Otto

Took awhile to get back to this . I think when the time comes I'll go with 22 " radius . I think with 22 I can get most of the locos around the layout . It will take a few loco mods to get them to take the curves , but for the most part it should be fairly easy .
