I am looking for a few Trainworx 40' corrugated trailers - without the right-side door.  I though I found some, but the product pictures on the mail-order sites were only of the left side, and sure enough the right side has the door.  I could have sworn Trainworx did a run without the side door.  Presently Trainworx only mentions the side-door version on their web site, but they tend to remove out-of-production stuff from the site.

Here's a link to the page on the side-door version: http://www.train-worx.com/?product=40200-1

NKP only had a few of  40' trailers with the side door, and now I have enough.  I need some without!  Do (or did) they exist?

If they did, anyone have any leads as to where to find some?

It appears the answer is yes, they do exist. The link is to Prairie Shadows new release of Cdn 40' corrugated trailers w/o the side door... they're made by Trainworx.

I can confirm the CGW trailer have no side door. IIRC, the side door version is just the regular trailer with the door opening milled into (out of) it and then a separate piece for the door.

Aren't those HO?  I'm looking for N scale.    Just to tease me, the list a really nice NKP 35' rib-sided trailer - I'd buy at least a handful in N scale.

I have several Northern Pacific and Great Northern trailers, both with and without side doors.

Now that I know that they exist in N scale, if anyone has a few undecorated ones lying around that they'd like to exchange for something of similar value (i.e. money or possibly a trade - if I have anything you might want), please send a PM.
