MRL Kato SD70ACe's Coming Soon

According to Hobby Search (1999jp) looks like Kato is going to do a pair of MRL units. Maybe its just me, but find it quite ironic that with MRL disappearing this year, that they are releasing these.

Also looks to be two new BNSF Nose headlight units

Two new UP numbers with nose headlights as well as a new run of UP 1943

Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

It might be ironic, but I would venture a guess that majority of models released by manufacturers are decorated for railroads which no longer exist.

I'm in trouble. I love the Kato SD70ACe's, and I've been patiently waiting for this match.

There was a old Kato poster with that MRL scheme, good for them to finally make them is a good looking scheme.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

Years ago FVM made MRL SD70s and I seem to remember them selling out very quickly. I'm glad to see Kato doing these smaller road schemes.

It's been quite a while, but Kato did release a pair of I&M Rail Link SD40's in HO. Had to grab those for my HO switching layout.

I wonder who pushed for that.  😂

Thank you Charlie
