I guess I was thinking of just the HOn3 Kadee couplers that have the center mounted coiled centering spring.  Still Eric's couplers are, in my opinion, the much better looking and operating coupler.

There's a prototype for everything.
If you can't make it perfect, make it adjustable.
DCC is not plug-n-play.

I assumed you were talkign about actual Kadee H0 scale couplers.

Aren't the Kadee H0n3 couplers basically MTL N scale couplers? Or very similar (including the split-shank design with a spring? Plenty of slink!  Weren't the N scale couplers originally derived from those Kadee H0n3 couplers?

Peteski:  Yes, Yes, and Yes.  The KD HOn3 couplers came first, but nort by much, and the N 1023/1025 is a scaled-down version of them.  The two work very well together, and many HOn3 modelers use the N scale couplers. especially since the now come in so many varieties.

Incidentally, the HO and N couplers will work together, at least as far as coupling!
