There is some sort of Special going on at Amazon for the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K

Normally $599.00 it's currently $429.99 (28% off) for the next 4hrs 30 min (Until 12PM Eastern).

If you were gonna get one, this seems like a good deal.  I assume you have to have Amazon Prime though.

I wonder if they are already ditching the 8K. There are 2 other printers with just about the same resolution,  but a much larger 10" screen.

I noticed the Elegoo Saturn 8K also for $599 has a 10" 8K screen but that bumps the resolution to 28.5µm from the 22µm of the Sonic Mini 8K.  Not sure how much practical difference that is.

Elegoo also has the Saturn 2 MSLA for $670.00 which has a 10.1" 8K screen with the same 28.5µm resolution.

Now the Sonic Mini 8K is listed at $499 ($100 off) and there is an additional 10% off coupon available.  No time limit, no restrictions (other than being a Prime member, for the 10% I think).

The Elegoo Saturn 2 has a much bigger screen. So only 28 microns, but huge a$$ screen. I'm pretty sure the Sonic Mini 8K is the only printer that uses it's screen. The Elegoo Saturn 2 is the same screen as an Epax E10 and X10. EDIT Saturn 8K also has the same screen just not as tall Z rail.

Sonic Mini 8k is 165x71x180
Saturn 2 is 218x123x250

At least you didn't pay upwards of $1k (that includes a heinous $268 for shipping!!)...  And you used yours right away.  Mine has been sitting in the box on the floor of my shop since June.  So thanks to Amazon, I couldn't sell it for 1/2 of what I have into it (not that I plan to).

That's possible that you get the $100 off for Prime.  I wouldn't get Prime just to get the deal, although you could just break even with the additional 10% ($50) off - $150 off $599 when Prime costs $129.  Tax is added for both.  But we already use Prime for a lot - streaming, quick shipping, music, books.
