Wolf, fine job on the warbonnets! Front coupler is.....?
Is it a detour? Love the train order board as well....Dirk or Showcase? Does it operate?
Beautiful modeling!

...Is it a detour? ...

I was thinking the exact same thing, Otto. The only regularly scheduled Santa Fe service where there was a potential stop at an SP station would have been the San Francisco Chief either at Mojave or Tehachapi. That station style wasn't at either, the closest being Palmdale.

Yeah, infinitesimal minutia, but it was, after all, in my backyard.

(Sorry, Wolf!)   ;)

Every once in a while I remember I'm still a modeler and grab a batch of cars to weather for the future layout.
32 completed in the last few weeks. Some better than others but I'm definitely still learning and improving my techniques.

I heard from a reliable source that the FreemoN was 21’ x 27’.

All of my reports are adjusted to proportionate Z-scale dimensions.    :P :D

I agree, those F7's are beautiful.   Great modeling all around.  Hey @Dave V , that thing got a decoder?      Seriously, it looks amazing. (and sad)

(Sorry, Wolf!)   ;) -- No worries.

Thanks, Gentlemen

Yup - major detour - north on the SP coast line.  There was a washout on Tehachapi.

The train order board is modified from a Showcase Miniatures semaphore. Non-operational. At least electrically. The blades are movable.
The front coupler is MT true scale.

Thanks again,
Wolf

I worked on the paved area and scenery around Neeltran yesterday.  There are more photos in my layout engineering thread.  https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=54066.msg744626#new
