Here is my 2nd layout from about 18 years ago which was 14x26 feet.

Last layout built 2014 until I had to move in 2017 - no plan handy but here is an under construction photo and a few more:

More photo's here:

I have an early draft for a future layout sketched - red grid area is where I have benchwork salvaged from the last layout that will fit in at that location:

My thoughts exactly.  No room for anything other than track!

Yet another layout design in HO scale from the end of the summer:

Østbanegården/Østerport Station in HO Scale

This layout represents Østerport station in Denmark from Ep. III / Transition era, before the depot burned down in the late 60’s.  It is created by Frankie Christians, who is a Danish engine driver and has been driving trains in and out that station since 1986. Hope you will like that project :)

I have to agree any plan can be adapted or modified. I modified the plan I am using for my switching layout. I had to make it bigger as it would not fit any of the current crop of switches available in HO.

See one more project in HO scale, added to the layout database:

The Corner HO-scale Layout of Michael

Medium-sized HO-scale corner layout design with single main line passing around a small town with car cinema near the sea coast.
