EMD Paint and Styling Diagrams.

Is there a cashé of EMD Paint and Styling Diagrams somewhere that anyone knows about?  I know the one's that the NMRA has in it's archives but I am looking for others.

Anyone ever come across these?

Way bacic when, MR ran a  series of isometric black and white drawings for a number of years with paint schemes.  You need someone who has back issues.  I would not trust any low res images on MR archive CD.

Ron Sebastian (RIP) of Des Plaines Hobbies extracted an amazing number of drawings out of EMD over the years, through contacts in LaGrange.  You'll see his name on the insert for the Microscale CGW decals, for example, as he shared the CGW P&L diagrams. 

Is the cache still in Des Plaines?  Yeah.  Would Matt have time to fish something out of the disorganized piles, or even find them in the first place?  Maybe...

Funny you mention the MS decals as I though of that as I went to bed last night.  What I'm looking primarily for is either the CGW NW-2 or TR-2 sets.  I don't think MS has done those.

Don't know about exhaustive sources, but you can certainly tell which railroads used EMDs designs.

I think you may be confusing the DL&W freight scheme with another road, I model DL&W and cannot recall ever seeing a blue version of the DL&W freight scheme. There was the blue version of the EL scheme that came about when EL and D&H traded 3600hp units.

The D&H painted the maroon stripe blue.

That's what I mean -  a similar scheme on a different railway but in blue. It may not have been exactly the same pattern, but just similar enough.
