Attention SPF's, wildest mis-listing of the year.....

I have no interest in this auction

I regularly check through N scale brass and had to have oxygen administered looking at the prices of the PRR steam duplexes.   Not that I want one, I'm just not used to trading in a car on one.

Then I stumbled on this thing.   He has no idea, none, of what he has.   You can thank me later.   "Penn Central Brass Engine"....Huh???   OMG.

I never understood why some boards made it "illegal" to link to eBay or even to mention the name of the site.

This is not one of them.  eBay, eBay, eBay, eBay, eBay, eBay allDay.

Here's the link:  https://www.ebay.com/itm/334091199121?hash=item4dc9632291:g:XEMAAOSwLTVg~3fi

Hey, that's supposed to be *MY* rant!  I must be getting lazy.  :)
I also stripped the eBay's tracking info from your link in the quote above.  :P

I once bought 4 brass Southern Pacific steamers at an estate sale for a grand total of under $100. I passed on the MT cars which were priced at $40 each. You never know what you'll find.

Pretty sure it's neither N scale nor brass.  Definitely is PC though.

Maybe Penn Line (HO)?

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

The wheels are brass!   :D  You're likely right about H0. He has several other models "from the old collection" listed and one is listed in H0 section, and another one supposedly measures 16mm between wheels.

I already had seen this listing and it's indeed a weird paintjob. But this is in principle a good looking, lousy running NJ International brass T1. It can be fixed up to a very good T1 when you have the mechanical skills.

Huh, I thought I was looking at one of these.....

"9 inches long plus tender 7 inches long"  Yeah, that would have to be HO.

Both the loco and tender are HO Penn Line.
