I am wondering if anyone might be able to confirm the following for me.
On the underside of the underframe for the N Scale Milwaukee bunk coaches produced by Fox Valley Models, the diaphragm plates (transverse structural members located approximately halfway between the bolsters and the centre of the car) are staggered on either side of the centre sills, rather than in line with each other:
I have never seen this arrangement before and I am wondering if it is prototypical or not for these particular coaches?
Any help appreciated,
Tim
