Do these cars deserve a spot in the TRW banner rotation?

I think so, we've reading about them for 10 years!
It's an epic thread.  :o

Absolutely!  These cars hit every possible area of A+ model railroading:
prototype research
drawings
patterns/jigs/fixtures
devising techniques for scratchbuilding the parts
and then scratchbuilding the parts
paint, lettering, weathering...

AND all the detailed photos and presentation of the project.

Every aspect was executed well.  All the parts were made with utmost precision and accuracy.  Models so completely executed from start to finish this well are rare.

Tim, you should be darn proud.
This is superb work!

The other banner I posted above has been in circulation for over a year. I just created a new one today in honor of the completion of the project:

Edit: I'm also fiddling around with a new design--just 'cause.

Say @BCR 570 , would you be willing to take some shots of the trailers from the side, so they'll work better in the image banner format? Thanks in advance!

Thank you all for this honour; I am very grateful.  I will endeavour to get a side shot for you.  One of the cars is currently in the dock at Dawson Creek so well positioned for such a shot.

Just realized that both cameras and my tripod are at school for photographing tomorrow's end of year awards ceremony.  Will have to do this for you tomorrow evening.

Thanks,

Good Morning DKS:

Here is the side view you requested; I have left space around the car so you can crop to your desired aspect ratio as needed.  Image is in the "General" Gallery.

Many thanks!
