I wonder how many cans of spray paint must go into a full car side graffiti?

I’ve seen videos where in cases like that, they actually use something akin to a Wagner Power Painter.

I find gallons of paint and brushes in the ends of covered hoppers all the time. It looks like a lot of the larger graffiti has a base of roll on paint with spray paints on top of that.

They really take it to the next level.  I guess the square footage of a 50' boxcar side is probably equivalent to the walls of couple of rooms. Power sprayers?  They probably bring their own portable generators to power that stuff.

I think they have cordless ones now powered by the same battery packs for the drills, etc.

A guy came to work on my roof recently and he had a cordless, battery powered, caulking gun.  Whaaaa???   :o

@MTLJoe @MTL_Brandon - if you guys won't do this one, maybe you can point us to a good decal printer who would?  As I recall @peteski already has an over subscribed Alps . . .

That's so classy it could be a strip club sign here around Fort Worth.

Well, there's a blues bar in the Adams Morgan part of DC called Madams Organ, and it's sign is not that classy.

It's painted on the side of their building, too big for a box car.  But, maybe MTL could shrink it down a bit?

I still maintain that if railroad companies actually embraced a locomotive scheme like that, there'd be far fewer grade crossing accidents.  Imagine that thing screaming its horn at you at track speed.  I think I'd piss myself even from a safe distance.

Except the painted windshields might pose a liability issue for the railroad.

I wonder if that would cut down on the windshield glare that railroaders sometimes complain about.

Obviously, those are bigger than Plate C clearance.
