Mono X Printer Arrived

We're getting there, slowly but surely. :)  I've had the Mono for over a month now testing for myself the print quality as well as speed, trying different resins for their characteristics, all to be sure I wanted to spring for the Mono X and its extra dimensional capacity.  In general I have been pleased enough to proceed with the purchase but still have more experiments to run to get myself dialed in and to get the whole mess flowing smoothly.  The end is in sight but still plenty more to do, the printers being just one part of the whole effort.

I just finally took the plunge with the help of their sale that ended yesterday, and decided to go straight for the Mono X, for better or for worse. What kind of a learning curve can I expect to encounter using this behemoth?

I haven't run the new Mono X yet but don't expect difficulty.  Because I'm fairly new with both of these Mono printers I don't have anything to report that's beyond what's in the threads in this forum except to say that the speed is impressive compared to my Photon. :o   Read up on the test program that comes with the unit and then run that as recommended.  It will give you a decent head start on the settings you might want to use as well as the effects of a little under or a little over on the normal cure times.

My biggest struggle is understanding how the exposure and layer thickness affect the print.

I really do not understand why the slicing software does not let me control exposure at specific layers.

Physically my issues are with bloom, holes filling with resin, and smaller features not replicated well.
