I'm getting my second dose next week!

Lighting in general, and the color temperature are very subjective and personal things.
Even the color temperature of sunligth can change depending on the weather conditions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature has some nice charts.  I prefer the warmer tones. The stark whites wit blue or even purple tint dos not appeal to me.  3000-4000K works for me.  (3000K is close to what halogen lights put out).

All the LED screw ins around my layout are 5500K.  I thought sunlight was more like 10000K.

The Wiki link I posted earlier has a nice chart showing corresponding temperatures of various light sources.  As for the sun's color temperature, maybe it is 10,000K, but that might be in the vacuum of space. On Earth we have the atmosphere filtering the light.  Look at the chart.

Yeah I think most grow lights use a spectrum of colors and not one single color.

LOL,  Sunlight (white light) has all the colors in it.  White is not a single color. White is all the different colors blended together.  As for grow lights, the latest findings are that plants only need few specific wavelengths (colors) of light, and other colors are just wasted energy (for growing plants).  But we are going way OT here.  :)
