I have acquired shells to adapt a Con Cor Hudson to an approximation of ATSF 3460, aka the Blue Goose, shrouded 4-6-4.
Upper portion of the loco is painted in a light "sky blue" while lower parts are in a medium blue shade. The medium blue is definitely lighter than the "freight diesel blue" in use in the 40s and 50s.
Anyone have a recommendation on closest colors? Preferably water borne acrylics, but I'll take what I can get.
