Watch one of his recent construction videos where he amps up over Code 100 vs. Code 83 in HO.

I watched that...  I thought it was funny, but I can see how that might turn off some folks.  He's correct that well-painted, ballasted, and weathered code 100 can look quite good.  That said, being out of the HO standard gauge gig for a long time now, I don't know if the rail profile has changed.  To me, the issue with traditional code 100 track was the rail profile...similar to N scale code 80.  I feel that the rail profile (lack of a web) will do more damage to realism than the rail height.  If the concrete code 100 he's using has rail-shaped rail, then I say "vaya con Dios."

I don't have much experience with H0 rail, but from what I remember seeing c100 rail having a realistic profile.  In brass and nickel-silver.

In N scale, c80 track from Atlas and Kato has that unrealistic upside-down T profile. But Peco and Micro Engineering (and probably others) use a more conventional profile c80 rail.

I thought I remembered that the old Atlas Snap Track in code 100 had that same inverted T thing.  Then again, I could be way off.

It's been long time ago, so I'm fuzzy on which brand track I saw. It might not have been Atlas (and you might be correct about the Atlas c100 track profile).

He hasn't posted anything yet on his YouTube page and don't think he has a Facebook page that I'm aware of anyway.

Might just be a little behind.
