I have several Atlas Evans caboose with the yellow end, I learned that the steps and the floor should also be painted yellow, any idea which yellow would be the right one?

1:1 is Fruit Growers Express yellow, which also happens to be Caterpillar yellow. I know this after having participated in a restoration project. How you match this relative to Atlas' color, maybe @MRLX1020 can jump in here and lend advice.

On Diesel Detailers Forum I found out that there's a very bright yellow from Tamiya, may be I try this first on a pice of scrap styrene

"1:1 is Fruit Growers Express yellow"

Interesting.  I always assumed it was the same as the NP caboose ends, which in turn I assumed were NP locomotive yellow.  No reason for the assumption, they just looked similar to me.
