Thanks for posting these.  :D

The GM&O box is tempting - though I'd have to grind off the coupler box to add extended draft gear.

I don't "need" any of the boxcars (but, well, maybe one of the Rio Grande), but I want to give Athearn thumbs up for their "era" designation (ie-year of the paint scheme on that car type).  I've been asking for this from manufacturers for a long time.  While I have some "expertise" on a few roads, it is very helpful not to need to do an extensive web search to find info on whether this or that paint scheme is accurate for my timeframe for all the other roads out there.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

I "need" almost all those container releases. I haven't counted, but I probably have enough containers to replace all the containers in my Kato Maxi IVs. And I have a trainload of those.

I agree the GM&O box car is pretty cool and tempting.

On the GM&O, here is one number Athearn announced - 59370 (wrong doors):

Close enough for this guy though (still thinking on it  :D)

I know the Tidewater Southern had a few revenue freight cars in 1972, so I guess I'll have to order one for my 1974 BN.

Maybe according to the ORER, but I have to wonder if any were really in service by then. The one and only TS car I ever saw was in 1973, intact but parked at WP's car shop in West Sact'o as a storage shed. I may have to get one or two anyway, it's a cool logo.

Ryan:  Thanks for the picture.  I tried looking at their site, but "TS" gave me the Texas Southern, so I gave up.  I just tried again, and it still says "Texas Southern", but the pictures are all Tidewater Southern.  I'm glad you're more persistent than I am!
