Good info @John . It seems that GCEs of MEUs are a battalion sized task force based on a infantry battalion with platoon sized attachments of armor. Even with this reduced size, it would probably be still 2-4 full trains. 1-2 for vehicles and 1-2 for connexes.

Yes .. a MEU is basically an integrated battalion with their own artillery, armor, and air .. two of my three ships were amphibious .. we would normally deploy in three ship task groups ..   usually an aviation ship, either an LPH or an LHA/LHD, and two other amphips .. I found this graphic online that illustrates it really well

Here’s my MLRS.  the Quality of the casting is OK. It looks like it was made on a fairly low resolution 3-D printer, and then the resin castings were made from that. Here’s a pic, the weathering looks a lot more subtle in real life than it does in my crummy picture. I used string instead of the MTL tie downs so it would match my other stuff. I plan to do another batch in NATO camouflage next week
