Static grass goes down fast, and makes such a dramatic difference. The tress are some cheap, wire-armature trees I purchased on eBay from China. I soaked-off the lime-green ground foam, bent the "branches" into shape, spray-painted with Rustoleum Camo Brown, then used 3M spray adhesive to add a base layer of medium green course ground foam, followed by light spray of the adhesive and some fine green-blend ground foam. The "contours" are just styrofoam cut, shaped, and glued in-place, and painted with the same earth-color latex paint as the base. The bare spots are covered with real, fine dirt.
