Good and bad things at the Rio Grande station in Salt Lake

Crews replaced the sign over the old station today but recently razed the remainder of the round house and the entire engine shop. UTA owns the property the shop was on and they intended to convert it to a bus repair and maintenance facility but it was cheaper to tear it down and build a new one.
