Layout With Impressive Tehachapi Scenery

Not sure where this layout is, but IMHO his Tehachapi scenery is better than both PKS and the La Mesa club:

Garry said it perfectly - wow!  There are some truly great layouts around - I'ld love to see the track plan for this one and some info about how the scenery was done.  Super impressive.

@GaryHinshaw  PKS == Pelle K. Soeborg, whose scenery while good always to me had a bit of a ‘sterile ‘ look.  These videos the scenery looks more natural and organic.  To my eye, the La Mesa scenery, while quite accurate, has a rather dated look.

@Bob he does have some how-tos on his videos page.  Rocks are hand carved plaster.

Went to a Tehachapi layout located in SoCal that's in a spare bedroom. It consists of just the loop with staging below the layout. it has the whole loop but don't remember any tunnel portals.

I remember that from the 2009 GMR (I may even have saved that one, but it's all in storage).   It's HO scale, tho in that same space you could build it in N scale and make the Loop actual scale size

I first saw these videos last year and agree - The best Jerry, the best. He is a very modern looking cat with with weird hair, but great modeling chops.
