Wiking's 50th Anniversary in N Scale

Probably something only collectors will be interested in, but I remember thinking how much better these models looked than the Arnold Rapido, (1967-68)  and Boyd (late 1968) N scale automobiles that were currently available.

The Bachmann automobile sets followed in 1970, and for the most part, they seemed like a step backwards after I had acquired several of the Wiking N1 sets.  These are definitely a trip down "Memory Lane."  https://www.wiking.de/en/shop/drei-pkw-und-ein-kleinbus-50-jahre-n-spur.html

Edit:  I just noticed Wiking is showing a VW panel van instead of the Microbus that was in the first N1 sets!
