brown/gray tint clear styrene?

I am working on a project that requires use of brown or gray clear styrene or equivalent. I checked Evergreen and they only make red, blue, yellow and green. I'm not sure where else to look. Any ideas?

When I was tinting windows in the original Bachmann Amfleet cars, I used automotive window tint.  I didn't even peel off the clear backing film - I just installed it as-is.  Thsoe tints come in a wide range of colors and tint levels.

Tamiya also sells transparent "smoke" paint (in the round glass jars).  You can tint clear plastic with that paint.

I think auto tint might be the way to go.

See this week's photo thread to see what I have cooked up.

A "million" different colors to choose from at reasonable cost.  Color tint gels used in the photography world.

Also in a spray can, or at least they used too

disclaimer from Tamiya website:

PS-31 SMOKE
DESCRIPTION
These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modeling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing one complete model. Painting polycarbonate bodies is done from the inside of the body shell as opposed to the outside of a traditional plastic model. When spraying body from the inside, keep the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies. Warning: Never use these paints on plastic models.

Go to an office supply store and look for plastic binder sheet covers, used for term papers, reports, etc. Most of them are clear, but some are tinted grey or brown.

You can use theater lighting gels as well; infinite number of colors to choose from.

The Tamiya PS series of spray paint is for polycarbonate models (but I use it for Delrin handrails). The TS series is for regular plastic, and TS-71 Smoke works well for tinting windows.
