Sebastian does do great modeling. He posts quite a bit on both FB groups called Model Railroad shelf layouts.

Ignoring the beautiful modelling work here, the lighting on that layout is impeccable. Looks as if the photos were taken outside in sunlight, but it appears to be indoors.

The lighting really makes his layout stand out. In his article in Model Railroad Planning 2019 he mentions using two different LED strip lights, 3600K (warm white) and 6000K (cold white). I intend to try the same thing on my shelf switching layout.

What stands out to me is that the track.. For what he is modeling..  The weathering and overgrowth is nicely done.. but the track is too well maintained.
