Vman: more often than not, threads on the Railwire take sudden and unexpected off-topic turn.  This is a perfect example.  So, don't get mad or try to fight it - ride the wave of silliness and enjoy the ride.  But you can always reintroduce some topical post into *YOUR* thread, if you are so inclined (as you just did) - nobody will mind.  :D

Good to see you making progress.  Photos would be nice too.  :)

Since looks like you are building a layout, you might consider starting a new thread on your build in the Layout Engineering Reports section of the forum.
